 Mom wanted us to shoot her son on his 21st birthday. This was a very fun shoot that stretched me a bit as I have never shot a young man before. I wanted to carefully avoid some of the feminine poses that I see poor young men subjected to in photos! This guy was a pleasure to work with and I was pleased with this shot.

Shot in our basement studio. Shot in RAW - RAW conversions. Photshop - hue/sat, selective color, dodge/burn, blur, healing brush, cloning, levels, neat image, USM, crop, save for web.

Not sure I get the title, but this is a very nice portrait. I like the clarity and color in the one eye that is completely visible (maybe a bit of fill light for the other one?)

Love the lighting. Wish his expression weren't quite so "mad" looking. Nice catch light. Great focus.
