 In response to some of the comments here, the guy wasn't actually breaking any rules. Smoking isn't allowed indoors in public places, but this photo was taken outdoors, at the entrance of a building - hence the ashtray beside him. Beyond that point, no smoking was allowed, which explains why he was standing there.

I should have known this was in South Africa... only we have such a flagrant disregard for the rules... ;-) I think you deserved a higher score.

I just find the subject matter a little uninteresting...a guy smoking, a little boring really...sorry :(

Funny character study. Some detail gets lost in the darker tones though. Maybe a bit more sharpening/contrast during processing to bring that out a bit. I like the photo a lot though.

The color processing really fits this image well. The border doesn't do much for me but nice shot though. 7

Three months ago I would have sympathized with him. Now. . . well, there's not much worse than the preaching of a reformed smoker! :)

Well composed, and I like the way he's framed by the signs above him. I'm not sure about the processing or the border, though.
