 it´s a very old photo, I think it´s near 1918. I love this old pictures.
Here is an experience. I just took a photo fron this old one and did a little process in photoshop.

I love old photos as well. This is wonderful.

There are some areas that appear to be blown out. Were they in the original photo?

One of my photo hobbies is to colorize these old photos. It is great fun and as you are already have Photoshop, you might enjoy giving it a try.
