Hi there from the Critique Club.
I like the colors in this shot. No, it doesn't "pop" out at you, but not all photos are meant to do that. This just has a nice, natural feel to it. I would have liked a little more emphasis on the main flower section with the water. I do like the dof although it appears to me that the main subject is a little out of focus.
As for meeting the challenge, I agree with some of the commentors that this shot doesn't strike me as having a strong element of where a person lives. I wouldn't deduct anything because I can see how it could work - but I wouldn't add anything to the score because it's really not a strong part of the photo.
I also think that the very slightly faded edge works with this shot.

Getting a lot better here! Just added to my faves! I really like teh compo & wish there was a bit more detail to the flowers. Would love to see some outtakes if ya got any!

| I feel like the flower there really doesnt seem to stand out mabey its the colors are so similar in the whole picture, Composition is good, Think this picture could have been stronger if the flowers were red or something, But you couldnt tell them to change color could you :) Good luck :-) |

| As opposed to the January, February, March, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December showers in the Northwest? I wish you were a little closer to the water drops. It DOES feel like the Northwest, though! |

| Doesn't say a whole lot about "where you live"... it's a nice shot, but just not very strong for the challenge, IMO. |

| Could do with some more focus on the main subject (the flowers with water drops) by having a larger depth of field, more contrast or a composition with less background clutter. To start with you could crop away 1/3rd of the left. |
