Wow, nice close up. This picture would have been much better if it was the New york Mets actually playing instead lol. |

You should try to sell this photo. Try sports illustrated. I am sure they will be doing articles about these two guys.

Well... considering they are wearing their "Road Greys" and it is not Yankees Stadium... this is definitely not N.Y., New York.
This... coming from a life long Yankee Fan.
But great Photo! |

176 entries, and maybe 5 that attempted to show anything to do with the culture. Funny, my guide book goes about 50/50 for shots of scenery compared to shots of culture awareness. DPC is a homogenized community. Majority rules here. 20th isn't bad, but in my contest you were in the top 5. Congratulations on a high finish. russ |

Really nice catch of the identical batting stances. I'm a big baseball fan, so I like seeing shots like this. good choice of dof so both are in forcus. I even like having the third base umpire right down the line. Composition makes this shot. (Did ya win?) |

M-E-T-S...Well even though Derek Jeter has only had a couple hits, you should do better than him in this one, great shot of NY. (A Rod should have definitely gone Bosox...) |

That is quite the shot. And fits in with one of the big things to talk about in NY. Great capture. |

Most sports photos dont really catch my eye, This one did. Nice grab with the 2 in the same position. More then that have to envy your seat placement to actually grab a photo like this. |

I find it hard to imagine how this shot is about "Where you live" other than that is a good one. |

As a lifelong Boston fan, I am genetically programmed to hate the Yankees. That aside, this is a pretty amzing shot. You have incredible access. |

One of the few photgrahs in the challenge that helped me to feel what it feels like where you live, not just what it looks like. thanks for doing something refreshing. This DPC crowd is sooooooooo homogenized!!! |

Nice composition, but this doesn't tell me anything about where you live. In fact, I can't tell what city this is in. |

I like this sports photo, with its depth-of-field. Great composition with the batters and the use of lines. However, "where you live?" Not feeling it. |

Poor Jeter...he can't get wood on the ball right now. The perspective of this shot is awesome right down the line. Good work. |

New York?! I don't think so. You have a nice photo here. But I feel like you are being misleading with the title. People who don't know baseball or even non-Americans will think this is New York when it actually isn't. Like I said nice picture. I'm giving you a 7 for the photo, would have been higher if not for the misleading title. |

Strangely grainy. I like the similar poses of the batters- would have been an interesting entry for proportions! |
