 This is a closeup of "The Great Rift", an enormous ionized pressure wave of hydrogen alpha and ionized sulfur in the constellation cygnus. The photo was taken with a 10" anttler's optics newtonian telescope, canon 350xt, baader hydrogen alpha filter, losmandy gll mount and sbig st4 guider. It is a composite of 10 10 minute exposures, converted to greyscale and stacked in photoshop.

I'm wondering what caused you to decide on a Black & White conversion. It's a lovely photo that I'm pretty sure is the lower part of the North American Nebula: 10
