Something about this shot draws me into it. There are a few things that could be improved (the lens flare is a bit distracting, and that tree seems a bit too centred). But I still like the image. |

He-he. Another Horse(s) outtake? :-) Horses are quite popular in this month's Free Study.
The compositional decision is either a like/don't like scenario. The horse is looking directly out of the frame (being that it's on the edge). Some will like the intrique factor ("what's he looking at?"), others will not like the fact that the viewer is immediately directed outside the frame rather than being directed within the photo.
Just some observations. :-) BTW - I nearly missed the bg fencing. Is that part of the titling choice?

I feel the horse is a little lost against the similiar colouted background. I am also unsure if the horse or the tree is the subject. |
