 Someone stuck a road construction sign up in front of our RA's door. I duotoned the shot but kept the sign orange, with the interpretation of college life generally being drab with the occasional excitement of pranks thrown in. Or maybe that our lives are still under construction while at college. Or maybe there's no symbolism at all, and I was just playing with Photoshop.

Ah, this takes me back. Any sort of building site furniture is easily placed within the dormitory halls (i used to especially like the little yellow flashing lights). Though, to me it doesn't REALLY fit the challenge (the corridor outside a room hardly constitutes village, town or city) it's done with such humour and dare i say it, style, that i'm willing to let that go. Changing to B&W is a clever and effective way of drawing ones attention to the road sign, so that decision definitely works. Overall, i think this is a bit silly, but pretty good. 7.

I love how the neon road contruction sign stands out from the rest of teh picture in B&W.

Thats funny! Something like I would have done, here in the good old days ;) , Wondering if the composition would have been better if you had cropped some more of the bottom? Good luck :-)

That's great. Inside a dorm! Great show of college life. Image seems a a bit dark. I like how only the sign has color.
