I had such a hard time choosing from all of the different photos I took, but I decided to go with something colourful.. this particular shot is of a road that runs behind my house (no, it is not an alley). While *most* of the streets in town are paved, this one obviously is not. Hopefully I wasn't too far off with choosing this one :)

This photo was resized, the curves and levels were tweaked, the colour was edited, and a bit of sharpening was applied. Oh, and the border was added. This photo needed a lot of warming.. I really must invest in some filters for my camera.

Very insightful picture for the challenge. No guide book would ever portray small town life as a dead end but living in a tiny town myself - I know it can be very true.

The sign says it all. I hope it's not quite that bad.

Sadly, I identified with this submission. I won't hold that against you - good job.

Hmmmm. The dark "tunnel" under the trees draws you in and makes you wonder...Too bad the second truck is hiding behind the pole - it's not needed, the blue one works great.

Could be any dead end, does not give a sense of place.
