Critique Club Review:
Color Saturation and Hue: Are saturated and hues are natural for the most part. It may be an effect of the lighting or processing, but there is a patch on the forehead that came out a blueish green.
Brightness and contrast: The scene is a bit bright in a couple of areas, most notably the top of the hair on the left side of the image. (Doll's right) The scene is back lit, and could have benefited from fill flash or more reflection to brighten the face of the doll. Contrast is moderate, not overly done.
Focus and depth of field: Focus is sharp, depth of field is hard to judge because of the use of the Lensbaby. I would liked to have seen all of the doll's hair in sharp focus.
I'm not sure what is going on at base of the doll, in the front of the frame. The soft focus, combined with the bits of blue color there, have joined forces to make it look like ink stains. The parts that are on the pink are of the dolls clothing look like the doll has been soiled. Some adjusting of the collar of the doll would have helped also.
It's a shame that the heart shaped aperture didn't show up more strongly in the image. The parts that I can see were very interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work with this tool.

| Lovely doll and nice background. I wish the face was a little brighter, maybe a reflector or fill flash might have helped. |

| I would have prefered the entire doll to be completely in focus with only the background "softened" |

| I really like the soft background here coupled with the doll's stiff expression. The colors are great. I wish there was a little bit less shadow on the doll's face. |
