I hung up a bunch of white sheets over the bar above a swinging bench. The sun (high sun, around 3 PM) came from the back right. I then over exposed for her tan face to blow out the background and her shirt.

Edit:
Crop from bottom and right (to remove a bit of hand and leg)
Levels (to further blow out highlights)
Brightness and contrast (to add a bit of contrast back into her face and hair)
Color correction (to remove the blue/cyan from the shadow on her face)
Resize

There are a lot of entries with 'heat' in the title. I don't think overexposure (with one or two noteable exceptions) conveys heat. It tends to give more of a cold light. Looks posed.

too even for overexposure...looks like pp and just made the image brighter 5

This might be more convincing as a harsh summer sunlight effect if we could see more hints of directionality of light. As it is, the rather uniform whitewashed apperancee seems to dull the portrait rather than enhance it.
