This is my first portrait shot ..... I was at a wedding at the weekend so I have a few from that

Basic editing really, a bit of dodge on her eyes, noise ninja and save

Re-edited again ... maybe a bit too bright now? I think I may need to check the calibration of my monitor again for the original edits.

Please offer cc, I don't do people so any pointers are gratefully received :)

Her face does look a tad shiny. But the pose is good. I might clone that stray hair off of her jacket sleeve. I might try the "move the light" tutorial on this one to relight her face in a more flattering way.

Don't you wish it was more socially-acceptable to carry a reflector to weddings? (well, I do anyways!)
I think the posing is good, but the face seems underexposed.

This feels wrong to criticize such accomplished photographers!

I like the pose and smile you captured. The eyes could probably use a bit more dodging, but then again that might not seems natural.
