BUT you did get a shallow DOF lol. I think it's a cute and quirky photo. It's fun to put in photos to challenge the viewers lol

A better shallow DOF would be to have the center mouse in focus and the first one OOF would give you a shallow DOF. Otherwise good photo, sharp good setup 6

Could be composed differently to be more appealing. A tigher crop would also help
