 Well this a spider web outside of my house with some water sprayed on it from a spray bottle. Shot with my 50mm macro w/ a 36mm extension tube and a 580ex for light. Heres the details for editing:

Shot in jpeg, cropped, rotated, levels, brightness/contrast, sharpened, usm, lots of hue/saturation to get the purply blue color background from what was a boring brick colored background, resized, save for web.

This is a great idea but not very strong. Try getting a little lower and then a lot closer.
