 AST Dew Tour, FMX Bike competition. Walked across the street from work during a quick break to grab this photo.

Thanks you for all your kind words and advice. I didn't realize it was so dark. I did learn that I need to calibrate my home monitor. It wasn't until I got to work and looked at the picture that I realized it was dark and more blue than I wanted.

That is one crazy shot/jump. Hope my kid never wants to do stuff like that. (And I prefer your other as well. An even greater sense of nuttiness.)

Yep it is Salt Lake City. They were doing this competition right outside my work.

Wow, that's an awesome action capture. I love the disconnected-ness. You've totally killed yourself by saving a 33kb JPEG...you could have/should have bumped up the quality, maybe you could have avoided the artifacts. I wonder what it would look like in B&W, since the colour on the rider is almost lost in the shadows.
