 I took this photo in my home studio and used table lamps to light the scene. I put everything on a mirror and used the reflection to add more interest. Adjusted the colors, hues/sats in Photoshop. I also colorized the background to add more interest and color in the shot, I wanted the "heroin" to look more like blood to emphisize the risk element. Hope you all enjoy!!

There is a lack of sharpness amd detail to this photo and I think most of it is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. Your file size of only 60k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what I think is robbing a lot of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one)

comments: Certainly fits the challenge, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of sharpness to it. It also is kind of boring and doesn't do anything for me. Good luck on the challenge.

Nicely put thematically, the image has softness on the upper right corner which is a bit distracting.
