 Hmn. Lucky find. Only had the little Nikon with me. These 2 are ridden and sometimes pull a carriage. Don't know their names but they live with 2 Clydesdales named Tim and Max (Max Dappled), whose owner I have talked with. The companion has no tattoo that I have seen.

Surprised it did this well, though I had been hoping until I remembered how unpolished my usual style is ... Thanks for the comments ("=]"?)(I think).

Slight crop. Smudged a small water bucket at upper right, also some power lines and a bit of distracting reflection on trees above rear horse. Also a horse ploppy. Played with levels and curves, desaturated, USM, resize, sharpen.

Not the best picture of either, but certainly the most interesting composition in the shoot.

I like how you shot from down low, and yes how the brand is framed by the grasses. High contrast but not too high.

This is quite nice! I love the way the number is perfectly framed by the weeds. B&W was definitely the right choice for this.

It's very dark on the horse's face, all of the horse in fact but it does help emphasise the white numbers. I think I'd have bent down those 3 grass stalks out of the way a bit.
