 Shot on tax day. This represents me dragging my feet to the post office! I hate taxes, but I'm still voting for Obama no matter what [user]hawkeye_lonewolf[/user]thinks.

The snail is on a piece of black foam board. One flash at camera left at 1/16th, some ambient light from the room behind. This allowed for a nice long exposure of 2 seconds at f/11. In camera settings included monotone with a bump in contrast and sharpening, as well as a yellow filter. I wanted more movement in his eyes, and my favorite image was shot in RAW by mistake! Oh well. PP: resize, sharpen, save for web.

It is a little too dark, maybe a little longer exposure for more detail.
