This is a really beautiful image. I love the lighting and the soft tones. Very emotional. It really gives the viewer feelings of protection and comfort. You nailed the theme. I gave it a 9. The only reason it's not a ten for me is because of the harsh bright spots on his arm, his face, and her nose. They're a little distracting. But i love the overall contrast of the image. Great job! :)

I like the idea, but the the woman's body language seems to tell an entirely different story. On the technical side, I'm not too fond of the blown highlights.

Beautiful image. Best of the "in arms" entries IMO. Clean and sharp. Perhaps might have been better with more detail in her hair and if more of her face was visable... also the clasped hands look a little odd for some reason. I think this should be a top 10 finisher.

Nice soft focus, would've liked to see a little more of their faces. Maybe it's just this angle but they don't look very content together which spoils the idea a bit for me. Love the black and white though.

Good photo and idea. However, the highlight on his arm is over-exposed and all of the detail is lost. Same with his forehead.

Not sure about the blown out upper arm - makes the forearm look bigger. The black works well.
