Took this shot in bird farm. These little babies are parakeet. They are actually in a little "house" beside the main cage where the parents live. I had to open the door and take my shot quickly for the parents would come in five seconds to see what's happening!

I like the concept of safety the pictures relate (even though, I wanted to shot risk with this idea). The black shadow on the baby's back was not meant to be there.

My first thought was "eww". But, you did a good job of abstractly communicating "safety"

Beautiful photo... shoehorned a little perhaps, but I think it's a reasonable fit ;)

The shadow on the back is a bit of a shame, and the black at the top/back is a little bit too much... causes the image to be a little unbalance (in my eye). The shallow DOF works well to take the foreground out of the picture (in terms of distractions that is).

Oh. Those poor little darlings. They're so ugly, they're cute.

That is an excellent photo, but I don't think I have seen anything look more vulnerable.

Oh my gosh. They're VERY new little guys! And definitely very odd looking. Are they real? And what are they in? Doesn't look like a nest.

What kind of birds are they, parrots? Very sharp shot, I can almost smell them. 6

I wish the shadow wasn't on his back and that we could see a little more of the second bird.

That is so adorable, with his little wing covering his baby brother. Sweet shot and a good take on the challenge. 9.
