Cutting out the kiosk and the street might have made this more of a stand-out

The shot looks very pixelated...good concept though

this is also what i call an "object shot". i wonder if you could get alot closer to the beach chair so that the bottom and back of it creat teh "frame" for the beach scene. or maybe you get down behind the back of the chair and shoot towards the sun....get a little more dramatic with the elements of the composition (perspective is an easy way to add dynamics).

if you were looking at more of an "object shot" of the chair, perhaps you could try photographing it 90° to its side so you get a true profile (that is, eliminate ALL perspective form the shot) make it VERY static or VERY dramatic. :)

also, the blue seems a bit too saturated.

aside from my opinions, i like that you didnt drop the chair in the vertical center. that would have been bad :) its moves like that that tell me that you were thinking about the shot and you tilted the camera skyward to catch more sky than ground. kudos for that :)

the blues and shadows look great. perhaps less buildings on the right and sky and more ocean would have made it a more powerful photo.

Could have been any beach, does not give a sense of place.
