This is a plate of dark colored water with a florescent background I made. I used three cups of water colored red, green & blue. I opened the shutter for 30 seconds, started pouring one cup at a time, and manually set off my sb-600 @ 1/8 power for each pour.
I wish I could get rid of the bubble to the left of the streams along with the other hot spots where the streams hit the water. Oh well, that's the nature of the challenge.

Oh my, I did expect a low score, but I didn't realize how much people hate dark shots. I did edit this to make a brighter version, but I actually like the dark better. Particularly, I like the contrast of the light colors against the dark water and I like the clear division of the frame. Still, I understand why it is getting slaughtered in voting. :(
Anyhow, here is my "bright version":
