Now we all know there's no such thing as a black & white sucker, so hopefully all of our brains will fill in the rainbow of colors. I know I recall someone doing a similar shot for another challenge... let's say I was inspired by it (rather than copied it). Shot with natural sunlight from the side. I should have used a reflector to even it out and get a sparkle in the eyes, but my model is a busy girl and wanted to get back to playing.
I debated if I would use this photo or this one:

Overall I like the other photo better but thought the one I submitted here does a better job of showing color.

Lightroom - recovery, fill light, exposure, clarity, vibrance (lowered), sharpen, noise reduction, contrast
Photoshop - B&W, curves and more curves, sharpen, noise reduction, add border, save for web |
