 This is what the challenge can do to you. You wake up early on the Sunday morning to start on a unscheduled visit to Vegetable and Flower market. You hope to catch some food color in the early morning light. Unfortunately, the day is cloudy. Still you venture out and spend next half an hour looking for something interesting in the market.


When you come home, and do a desaturation on all the images, you suddenly turn cold. Where have all the colors disappeared? And now the challenge is to find one entry that conveys the feel of 'color' most. After few hours of mental gymnastics, and some feedback from your discerning friend, you zero on in this entry. At least this is what you feel most comfortable with. Now, I don't know how the others will like it. Anyway, the deed is done. Over to DPC now :-).

I would be interested to see a different crop here as I think that is one thing that is letting you down here.

This shot looks sepia toned which is not allowed in this challenge.(supposed to be greyscale only) Other than that it is an interesting shot.

Nice shot. I would have shown more of the little girl on right and cropped a bit ont he left. I understand the colors you are talking about here. But the flowers doesn't seem to be the center of interest, though. Don't know how many people really get what you are trying to convey.
