The engine is surprisingly quiet and smooth to ride on. It makes much less noise and vibration than a diesel does.
The locomotive burns about a shovel full of coal per mile, and weighs over 300,000 lbs, or 115,000 KG. That's about the same weight as 150 to 175 average automobiles.

quick upload for the photo domino game huh waddy ?? .. lol ..
i can just imagine you up there with your monopod taking this shot .. did you get some strange looks or was everyone very understanding ..??
its a great shot .. lucky about the wind direction, it'd be a bummer getting that smoke in your face .. or is the self timer for that eventuality ?? .. dont know about self timers yet .. but give me time .. !!:)
