This is basically my butterfly knife spinning, while held up by fishing wire on both sides. The blade was ugly so I modeled a blade from scratch, it's purely digital (many will hate me for this). I think it looks pretty good, maybe too good to be believable, but I think I'll fool a few with this one. The reason it's blur free is that I used the slowsync flash technique. The blurs come from two stationary 500W lights, one from the top, one from the bottom

Post-Processing:
Creation of the blade :), Contrast enhancements, desaturate, rotate, crop.

A very atrractive image that taxes common sense, yet one leaves the possibility open.

I like the diagonal positioning. Seems to me that it could be a little more in focus, even though it is motion Blur. Cool border.

Original idea where the motion blur really enhances the image. Makes one look closer at what is happening.

THis looks interesting but I'm not sure what's going on. What's a butterflying knife? A good photo though with fine contrast. It would score higher if it was clearer what is happening.

This is a strong subject for a black and white. The contrast is excellent. My personal lack of ability on this photo is that I don't really understand what I'm looking at. Compositionally, I think this photo could have a minor improvement. I'm not a big fan of diagonals that leave the frame in the corners directly. I seem to prefer leaving over or under the corner... I don't know for sure which would work best here... excellent work... = 7
