I with the child's face weren't cut off in the middle of his nose. I want to see the face. Good idea for a tough challenge topic, though.

Nice perspective! I can certainly imagine the colour here though I think the focus needs to be more on the hand and that one crayon.

Nah, never inside the lines! Go outside the lines to your heart's content! Nice use of DOF, good positioning of the hand doing the drawing.
