| Thanks for the comment kenna718. I'm a little disappointed it didn't score over 6, but that is how things go. I didn't do much preparation for the shot. I was just fooling around and this is what I got. I'll be a little more careful when shooting this sort of subject next time, and hopefully I'll do better. :) |

| 6 - I like this - the chromatic aberration actually adds something to the image as well, especially with the colors. Main nit-pick is that the tip of the thorn is broken (unless that is part of the 'concept'). Maybe some slight tweaking of the framing (maybe a border) and/or colors, may have given this a little more. Title suits the image and befitting abstract that, in my opinion, is in the spirit of the Challenge. |

| Good one! DOF is maybe a bit much on the base of the thorn but you've singled out the sharp end, the bit that matters to theme, so it's passable. This is a great idea. |

| Not very abstract to me, the focus on the 'spiteful' part seems less focused then the stalk it's on and it's not really making me feel any emotion. I do like the gradient of the background... |
