Chris Gilmour splashes across the inside of turn one at Symmons Plains raceway during the first round of qualifying for the Formula 3 races at the Shannons Nationals. He went on to win the National championship.
Converted from RAW with contrast and brightness adjustments, rotated to straighten, shadow/highlight at 45/30, slight s-curve and brightness/contrast adjustment layers, cropped, merged visible layers, resized, unsharp mask twice, first at 50% 0.9, second at 30% 0.6, added border using canvas size, 16 bits to 8 bits, saved for web.
Predicting low to mid 5 if I'm lucky. |

Not a bad result in the end, above your average and that's the main thing :)

I don't like your photo, BUMMER!. Not really, nice action capture, pity about the challenge rules preventing you reducing the light reflection on the nose. === 9 |

Certainly not the sort of shot you see every day, but cropped so tight like this it loses a bit of context. Almost looks like the guy is just sitting there spinning his wheels in the dirt rather than having missed a turn. Not voting, just commenting. Good luck. |
