The skin tones are very grey and non lifelike, and she does not appear to be in a studio??

Didn't you flip us the bird? Hmmm? At least your not picking your nose: that was a horrible thing to make a child to for a challenge shot! It is certainly in 'color', it's a 'portrait' but there is a slight feel of not being in a 'studio'. I'm rating this one at 9.

Seems a tad underexposed overall.... perhaps to compensate for the shirt? Colors are also a little flat, but I like the pose.

The bg takes a little too much attention, imho, and the lighting is quite flat. Very nice pose and composition, excellent eye contact and attitude.

I like this MUCH better than the pose chosen for the Abstract Emotion challenge.



Nice comp, good detail. Should do "ok" with this one - although you may get dinged for it appearing to be an "outdoor" shot rather than in a "studio".
