 Had to crop slightly to remove a construction trailer. I also applied the unsharpen filter which cleaned up the edges after resizing. Used the Kodak Ektanar 2x telephoto attachment.

Conforming to a theme is tougher than taking pictures! Dictionary.COM defines proportion as "A part considered in relation to the whole." This shot (to me) emphasizes the support columns while tying them together with the green girders.

As this is my first time entering a challenge, I'm anxious for critique. After reviewing many galleries here it's clear I have much to learn!

After submitting this entry I had more time to study some post-processing techniques, and was able to create a much sharper (USM) and more saturated image. I appreciate the comments - they definitely helped.

I didn't realize how critical the digital darkroom mastery was, or how crisp a picture my digicam was capable of until I got into this site. That in itself was worth the yearly subscription!

There is not enough contrast of design elements for me to get excited by this image. It has a washed out quality.

The shadows minimize the impact of the columns on half of the image. I like the patches of blue on both sides.
