This is simply stunning. I love the title. The foggy background and clarity of the foreground make for an interesting treat to the eye. Great colors - perfect for what appears to be an early morning shot. |

Thanks for sharing your photo with me on the 'mist' thread on DPC. I like the scene you've captured and note that it was your submission for the 'Proportion' challenge. Very well done on getting 22nd place! It's a lovely scene. |

Amazing shot! One of the best in the challenge. Smart use of framing to show proportion. 10 |

Beautiful picture, but not obviously related to the challenge. |

Absolutely beautiful picture - just not sure that it depicts "proportion" as clearly as it might. |

Looks a bit over-processed, but so far one of the nicest shots. |

This is the effect of distance. I would like to have seen a passenger liner in view. But of course you can't just order up one. |

Wow, I really like this shot! Shows proportion on a couple of levels: the boat in relation to the other boats and in relation to the water. The fog really makes this shot have a mystical feel to it. The color of the boat against the green/blue water really makes it stand out nicely. 10. |

The edge of the boat has some distortion. I am not sure if it is a jpeg compression problem or if it is blurry. I love the colors and feel of the photo. |

Nice peaceful scene. Great seeing. Fogginess and light make the colors really pop. |

I love the peaceful tranquility of this photo. Good eye to capture the color on the one boat without the distraction of color occuring elsewhere. Subject is expertly placed. If there's one thing to quibble with it's the jaggy edges on the the rim of the near boat--perhaps a result of oversharpening? (I don't think it's my screen, apologies if it is.) |

The unsharp masking is excessive. Try a couple of things -- assuming you're using photoshop: use a lower value for the Amount (I'd think between 40 & 80 would be adequate), and perhaps a slightly higher value for the radius, perhaps somewhere between 1 & 4. |

Good picture, but maybe a little too soft for my taste. Nice colors and composition. I'm not sure if it meets the challenge 100%. (6) |
