Cropped and a little contrast change.

My thought was to do something more meaningful than just to shoot a pretty picture. It was really hard to make everything fit and I was really never happy with the cropping but it came out ok

Thanks for the comments, I didn´t expect so many to comment and I thougt I would finish at the bottom of this challenge.
I´m really happy that I managed to make this picture say something and have a meaning, cause that´s the really hard and rewarding part of taking pictures.

Thanks

Great effect with the shadow--appearing headless with the angle of the light.

Love the colour and the shadow looks like a monster!

Does feel pretty out of proportion doesn't it. I know it's a night photo, but I think a slightly longer exposure would be a better pic. Good treatment on the challenge.

Love this idea! The color of the lights really makes this picture eerie, which matches with the posture to tell a story. Good job. 9.

nice idea, good work. Were the lights orange or didnt you change the White Balance of the camera?

Very artistic shot. The only things I would suggest to improve the image would be to crop the right side about where the row of lights start - if I hold my hand over the picture right there, it simplifies the whole image immensely. Also, I'd maybe play with the color balance just a bit - the yellows are a bit intense.
But very creative and communicative image!

What a wonderful analogy for depression...showing how BIG it feels to those who suffer. Technically, I wish the image were sharper, but it sure does get the point across.

Good idea for the challenge! Somehow I think it would be better if the subject were not facing his shadow, but otherwise perfectly posed to create the effect. The skewed horizontal adds to the effect of your theme. Not crazy about the orange tone, but maybe you meant it to be disturbing.

Eeek! It's the headless ghost! This would have been better if the guy had his head lifted up a bit for more impact. But I love the proportion between the shadow and the guy anyway. The color is very fitting, quite mood-invoking. Excellent job!

This is good. I think it has a good mood with the lighting/title and his posture.

Very creative - right down to the yellow coloring which emphasiszes the mood (to me anyway!).

Háskóli Ãslands, ekki satt? Góð hugmynd, magnað oft að keyra þarna framhjá þegar fólk er að labba fyrir utan skólann og risavaxnir skuggar varpast á húsið. Flott "hue" á þessu, svarthvítt hefði gert hana flatari. Virðist vera pínu barrel distortion út af gleiðlinsunni. Flottur skuggi, hauslaus.
