| I think this is a lovely abstract and emotive, and you get above average marks from me for it, but I must admit the emotion it generates (for me) is the opposite of serenity. Curious to see, hopefully in your notes, how you see serenity in it. |

| Great shot, but all that power doesn't say serenity to me. It does say power, self-assurance, strength, but not serenity. (Which doesn't bring my vote down: the emotion is here and the photo is excellent.) |

| The thumbnail version of this photo looks very abstract. In a way, so does the large version. It's cheese right? Just kidding...of course I can see it's a girl talking to her mother. Ok, I'm kidding again. The emotion I feel more then serenity is motion...the crop is cool as the darkness almost reflects the lighter side. |

| I really like this and feel the turbulence. While I recognize the rapids, I still think the image has a very abstract look. |
