If you are going to do an ultra closeup it is a good idea to so so with a longer lense so that the nose does not look extra huge like it does here. Sorry but this one does not work for me at all. |

This shot would benefit from either more DoF or the focal point being set on the subject's eyes, IMO. |

Close is nice, but B&W here would have hidden the red eyes, and maybe a greater focal length would have given a more natural look of the nose. Unless this is what you were going for? |

ouch...stuffing a wider angle lens in someone's face never looks flattering. |

Interesting crop. I think you could have used the white balance setting in your camera to reduce the orangeness of the image. |
