I had been planning on coming to these water falls for several weeks but it kept on raining!!! This weekend was my last chance, so I took it... There was a LOT of layers, adjusting, dodging, burning, ect... to get this result... YES I KNOW... it is quite a bit over processed, kind of like a cheezie post card you'd see for 10 cents and still not buy... hahaha... anyway... I still like it... and YES the sun blew out the top right corner... try shooting whit a fisheye lens... it's not very easy to keep the sun out of your frame...
As long as my final percent is higher than 25% I will be happy... My goal is to beat my previous percent in each Free Study... the last one was 25%, so I'll be happy as long as I beat that one...
In therms of processing, I just opened the RAW file in Camera Raw several times and made adjustments each time for each different part of the scene... then I put them together as different layers and erased through to show all the properly exposed parts... after that there was a lot of dodging, burning and fine tweaking... |
