Taken in my spare room using table lamps for lighting and a painters dropcloth taped to the wall as a backdrop. Tweeked in DPP, then the normal levels, hue/sat, b/c adjustments, then various and multiple tweaks of Hue/sat again and various additional selective colour adjustments on red can yellow to try and even out the different light temps from the various table lamps (Wow - I'll never do that again). A USM pass, resized, another USM pass and saved for the web.

I gave this a 7. I didn't recognize you. Very sharp and met the theme better than most of the entries. Well composed and lit. The best part that really gives "pop" to this is the contrast and clarity.

A very pleasant self portrait. I am not crazy about the background colour though. Is that you Dr. Phil???

I wish there were was more shadow on one side of the face to make it seem more 3D.
