I find it interesting that it is very obvious from everyone's comments...who has no idea how to take & evaluate a studio portrait and its lighting techniques. But I think I have fooled everyone with my lighting set-up....and I'm keeping it a secret. ha!

This actually did really well...and I'm happy to see so many people liked it as well. I wish it did better...but my hensel lights in my LR just don't have the same spectral range as the main studio...which I shot GINA in:

I love her expression, the lighting is brilliant.

I find myself wanting to vote this photo higher just because I find the model very attractive. I'm refraining for now 'cuz that just doesn't seem right. But I keep coming back to it and fighting with myself. :)

Lighting is flat. I think having the one shoulder cropped off makes it look odd, and cropping the top of the head doesnot help either. I think instead of what looks like 3 lights and a reflector I would have taken one of the lights and put it on the background instead to make it white instead of grey.

That critical stuff aside, she is a beautiful model with wonderful skin and the processing is very nice. 5

I wish the elbow wasn't cut off, but it's good either way.

Very flat, needs some contrast. Do like the pose though I'm not digging the narrow crop.

Candice is cute, but the proportions are wrong, too little head and too much bust. Somehow it makes her head seem small on her body.

great shot. her hand is a bit blown out and her eyes have way to many lights in them. BG is great as well as skin tones. I might have pulled the arm a bit to the left as it catches the eye a lot. Nice work though.

Very nice portrait. I find the multiple catch-lites in the eyes very distracting though. This would have been much better if you positioned you lighting setup to only show one reflecting in her eyes. Looks like you used at least a 3-4 light setup.
