It was a beautiful day, much like any other. The sky was mostly clear, the sun warm, the air sweet. So it was when disaster struck, and the world began to warp in on itself. No time for reactions, no time for questions.

One moment the world was as it always had been, and the next, twisting in upon itself, it was gone.
