Nice skin. The lighting is far too flat however, and the blue scarf is very distracting. 4

started at a 7, bumping you up to an 8--I keep coming back to this image. The slightly blue/cool tonality to the light here is well done--white balancing or warming it up would not suit this image at all. She is bundled up, so cool lighting reinforces that. Her eyes suggest she is about to smile or laugh, and the hint of a forming smile at her lips suggests some mystery about what she is thinking.....

I like this full frame portrait a lot, but it looks a little too light on my screen. To show you what I mean, I can send you a modified version, on which I simply darkened the dark and medium lights with a Levels ajustment layer.

The make-up on her Tzone needs blending a tad but this is a nice shot, lovely and bright, like the close crop on her face too.

the eyes seem a bit out of focus, and they are the most important part of a portrait hot(to me at least). really good set up though, i like the scarf and the fur
