Such a great model and such a poor location to take the photo. Sorry, but the location is very distracting and ruins a nice photo of a very interesting boy. |

Assuming you are short on 'studio' gear, I still think you could have made more of this shot. Moving the kid a foot to the left in front of some empty wall instead of randomly sitting him in front of a door where the hinge sticks up out of his hat would have helped. Cropping the photo so there is more subject and less living room. Asking the kid to look at the camera maybe. Picking up the piece of paper sitting on the floor behind him...... |

i dont like the glare on the door behind the boy's head. its distracting. also, that tissue on the ground needs to go |

While I wish this photo had a better background to it, I love the feeling you have captured here. I love the fact that his pants are dirty and you can tell he was having a good time playing sheriff. |
