 This is my buddy John. John was the subject of my 2nd lowest scoring picture. I hope this one does better. I went for a straight forward head shot.

Single light at about 45° to the right of the camera.

PSPXI edits: sharpen, resize, slight curves, and unsharp mask.

Not to far off, I was expecting a high 5 or even a 6.

I should have gone with the tighter crop. I kept looking at it and thinking it looked cluttered.

Pose good, facial expression too akward, underexposed look, needs more fill/reflexion and light bounce in the eyes.
