 Use of stroke to, in effect, "clean up the background" is the violation. I have to agree with this decision.
Disqualification Details
You may use a cloning tool or small healing brush for the sole purpose of removing sensor dust or hot pixels. No other spot-editing is allowed.

This would have been good for the catalog challenge but while good technically it doessn't "draw me in" with anything to really focus on.
