 A night candid taken on Broadway. Here's a black and white version:



For this shot I held my umbrella in one hand and practiced focusing on the jostling crowds with the other! I ended up with with many blurry photos.

This has been cropped. In PP I increased the light on her face and darkened the shirt of a person behind her. I also fooled around with both sharpening and noise reduction.

The scores are almost split! I tend to prefer the color, so that's where I'll leave my comment. I guess the sky high ISO has left behind some noise and artifacts that you have to work around. I think the color tends to make them look more interesting.

i like the color better - the red gleaming lights from the street really add to the shot and frame the young woman very well

The BW is excellent, but the colours in this really invite me into the wetness. Love what moisture can do for colour, and this a tone poem. (ISO 2000. Hmn, upgrade time).
