This shot was cropped to death but I had no choice. I started shooting the moment I saw him but I was about 50 feet away. I kept shooting as I was walking towards him but he stopped shaving and that was that. I still had to crop heavily so the viewer could see the Bic Blade otherwise undistinguishable at a distance.

this is great. it takes just the right amount of time to find the razor. it might be even better without the hint in the title.

Another "from the hip?" Makes me think of Sylvia Plachy's old Village Voice series.

Btw, this year I started dry shaving some mornings. I know it's bad for the skin, but some days I can't be bothered with the full shave!

placing the man and his legs horizontal while allowing the street to drift to the right adds much needed energy to the shot

The poor guy is going to have one heck of a rash from a dry shave - what a great shot to come up on .. like the surroundings too - it all fits.
