Hey Joe! I didn't see this when I voted but I like what you tried to do here. I think you missed the boat on the title/theme but overall it's a very interesting shot with unique shadowing and tones. It has a definite mood but more along the lines of night moves or after hours. It's a shame you didn't focus more on the partiers. I know you'll do much better next time, this was only a temporary setback and a very small one. I do like it though. ;-) |

I like where you're going and I like the abstraction, but I think a little more emphasis needs to be on the heels, or something to make it just a bit more compelling. Cool shot! |

I think if there was less of the sidewalk and more of the people, then this would be a better shot. |

My eye immediately goes to the ribbon (?) on the right, which doesn't really help what I think you are going for in this photo. I like the idea and perspective, it just took me awhile to get to the purpose/focal point of the photo (the top left). |

I wanna love this, but there's something just not quite right. Maybe too much sidewalk?? The upper half is great. love the concept. Maybe I'm looking for more legs? just can't put my finger on it. |

Sorry. Not really sure what to look at here. Because of the dark shadow in the back, it took a while for my eyes to travel above it to see the couple. Looks like the main focus is the ground, but there's not much to see there.
I think the feel of the shot and the exposure are great, but I would have liked to see a bit more in terms of composition. |
