 When ballerinas get new pointe shoes they have to sew on the ribbon to wrap around their ankles.
I took this candid shot of a ballerina in the studio with natural lighting. I've been working with her company on a photo essay for a few weeks now

Nice image - Like the soft lighting and unusual subject - Maybe a slightly shallower depth of field may have made her pop a little more.
