 This is Victoria station in Athens. The green tiles are quite vivid.

I was standing on the platform across from the man reading and shot from the hip about 3-4 times.

I used levels to bring out the contrast and unsharp mask.

Despite the vivid colors, this has a ver noir feel to it. For me, the sign in a foreigh (to me) alphabet adds to the mood. Wonderful color and composition.

Pretty good shot from the hip. Those tiles are really something. The man looks very ready to shift off the edge of the bench - is it from fear that someone may come along and sit on the bench, or is just the unease created by the colour?

Really striking use of bold color contrasts, and I like the lone figure. Nice how the shadow at top and the black tile at bottom create a sort of "natural" letterbox frame.

Color, color, beautiful color, too bad I was the only one to notice that eh (grin) - I like how this photo is broken up into a grid - each square is a different shade, making it look like a painting - great job.

What I like the most here are the colors and composition. Would have liked to see a tad more space at the bottom but that's not always possible when shooting from the hip. Nice work.

Gasp! This is in color!! But then it kinda has to be. Great take. I do this "shoot across platforms" thing quite often. What lens were you using? I'd guess the 18-200? 'Tis very square - no distortion. Nice!

Love this! I'm so used to seeing your images in B&W that it's refreshing to look in colour too :)
