A quick sideways glance at the lights and this character caught my eye... had to have a pic. He looked like his face was set in stone... completely unwavering.

Quickly moved my focus point to the right, but had no time for other adjustments as the lights had just changed and he was walking away. So it was matrix metered and as usual on continuous drive.

The dof does accentuate the subject well. Seems to be a man with a purpose. I like the color toning and comp, nice work.

Ah, you're faster on the trigger than me - I have been trying to figure how to deal with the fact I leave focus on the center and recompose on the fly, when I really need to be able to move the focus around. Framing suits his glare/look very well. I like the lights/reflections beyond.

what a face! - the title of the shot really made me look hard at the shot - the use of shallow DOF with the cars and other background images to smooth so as to remove distraction works great to emphasize his face

Great profile shot. You can see a lot of character in the man. As said before the coloring of the photo looks a bit sepia, which is appropriate.

I lived in Republic of Korea for a year and now I live in Japan. It is amazing how much more active the older community is here in the East than in the West. They are a lot thinner here too.

This is awesome! An A+ for composition alone. Great expression and I like the sepia processing (if that's what you did).

Certainly he is not very animated. Interesting capture.
