This is a beautiful shot of this Cara Cara/ Mexican Buzzard, the bird on Mexican coins. We have these in the wild in S W Florida, but they are not easily approached for photos. After 3 years, I am still trying to get a good clear shot of one up close at eye level instead of up into the sky from 60 ft.
They are nice to see when they are flying. They look almost like small eagles.

This one is absolutely beautiful. I did not see him when I was at the zoo. I will have to look for him next time. I used to see these birds in the wild when I lived out in Deer Run. Nicely done and great catch light in the eyes. Adding to my favorites.
